Terms & conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Mediahouse clients depending on services rendered, with or without additional contracts. These terms apply once any fees are paid to Mediahouse for services rendered.
1. Services Provided
- Custom website design and development
- Google Ads (PPC) campaign setup and management
- Social media strategy, content creation, scheduling, and analytics
- Business Consulting
- Digital Design
2. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and timely information as needed for project completion
- Supply any required content, images, or credentials
- Respond to communications in a timely manner
- Review and approve work within the agreed-upon timelines. Delays in client feedback or material submission may result in timeline shifts or additional costs.
3. Payment Terms
- A 70% upfront payment is required before project initiation, unless otherwise agreed
- Final payment is due upon completion or before the project goes live
- Monthly retainers for ongoing services (e.g., ads or social media) are due in advance
- Late payments may result in an account pause until payments are up to date. Mediahouse reserves the right to terminate any retainer agreement as a result of constant late payments.
- Any retainer payment paid beyond the 1st of every month is considered a late payment.
4. Revisions, Scope & Operating hours
- Our service packages include a limited number of revisions (as specified in your contract). Additional revisions or scope changes will be billed separately at our hourly rate or as agreed.
- Our Operating hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. Services are not rendered during public holidays and week ends.
5. Google Ads & Social Media Management
- You retain ownership of your ad and social media accounts.
- We will require admin-level access to relevant platforms.
- Ad spend is paid directly by you to Google, Meta, or other applicable platforms.
- Performance results can vary; we can not guarantee specific outcomes.
6. Intellectual Property
- Upon full payment, website designs and custom assets become your property.
- Third-party licenses (e.g., stock images, plugins) remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own terms.
- We reserve the right to display completed work in our portfolio.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential all information marked as such and not publicly known. We will not share or use your data for any purpose beyond service delivery without consent.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice.
In the event of termination:
- The client will pay for all work completed up to the termination date.
- Access to services will be revoked once outstanding balances are cleared.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any loss of profits, data, or business resulting from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the services in question.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in South Africa.
